Northern Training: Tribal & Rural Communities Addressing Gender Based Violence

Wednesday, July 17, 2024 - Thursday, July 18, 2024 Ho-Chunk Gaming & Convention Center

The Ho-Chunk Nation hosts the 2024 Northern Training in Wisconsin Dells, in collaboration with American Indians Against Abuse and End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin. We will gather from 8am-4:30pm on July 17 and from 8am-1pm on July 18.

Join us in community to address gender-based violence and learn from members of the Ho-Chunk Nation, tribal and rural presenters from Wisconsin, and guests from tribal communities outside of Wisconsin. We welcome keynote presenter Lenny Hayes, panelists from Wica Agli, tribal coalition leadership from Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition, First Nations Women’s Alliance, and Native Women’s Society of the Great Plains.
