Primary responsibilities
Prevention Team
- Facilitate regular team meetings focusing on collaboration and coordination among team members:

- Monthly check-ins
- Deliverable & Annual Work planning
- New Hire Onboarding
- Professional development, performance evaluation and feedback, and coaching
- Supervision of Prevention staff, and the LGBTQ & Youth Program Director and the Leadership & Advocacy Program Director

- Approve timesheets and expense reports for staff, ensuring congruence with End Abuse personnel policies.
- Approve requests for vacation, personal time, sick time, etc.
- In concert with the Director of HR, fill vacant positions. Tasks include setting the hiring committee, developing interview questions, and revising the job description in ways consistent with team input and End Abuse priorities.
Statewide Domestic Violence Prevention Initiative Grant Management
- Programmatic oversight, monitoring, and management of funded grantee organizations and approving invoices for payment for accounting.
- Contract and Budget Management (includes tracking the spending of grantees, spending of overall DCF 470 budget, coordinate process for annual contract renewals for grantees, creation of exhibit 1 scope of services for grantees, contract renewals with DCF when needed, teen summit presenter contracting, budget modifications when needed and annual contract renewals with The Improve Group; and includes the tracking the spending of D2K related expenses included in the DCF 470 budget.)
- Programmatic oversight, monitoring and management of statewide campaign promoting healing and healthy relationships called Dare2Know. Includes submission of quarterly reports, coordination, and supervision of the Teen Ambassador Program – TAP, coordination of monthly social media content, final approval of any D2K related graphics and overall coordination of campaign efforts in partnership.
Lead efforts with domestic violence programs to build their capacity to incorporate prevention messages, strategies and evaluation into programming and services.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of, and commitment to, primary prevention, anti-oppression and social change work.
- Provide education, technical assistance/support and resources regarding primary prevention, anti-oppression and social change work.
- Ensure that prevention efforts and initiatives are inclusive and reflective of diverse populations across geographic regions, racial/cultural groups, gender identity/sexual orientation, and people with disabilities groups.
- Collaborate with statewide partners, such as the Department of Children and Families, WCASA, etc.) on the continued implementation and evaluation of the Statewide Domestic Violence Prevention Initiative.
- Over time, develop expertise in program evaluation and demonstrate that prevention strategies reduce risk factors and increase protective factors of perpetuation.
Support the implementation of the Dare2Know (D2K) Campaign and raise public awareness about the importance of healthy relationships and healing in Wisconsin.
- Utilize and manage D2K social media accounts to engage audiences and raise awareness across Wisconsin and design content to speak to multiple cultural, linguistic and life-span communities.
- Respond to media inquiries and interview requests related to prevention specifically related to the teen summit and D2K campaign, as directed by the Communications Director and Executive Director.
- Collaborate with D2K Youth Outreach Specialist’s and Teen Council Members to generate social media content and to co-create ideas for ongoing outreach.
- Coordinate and integrate the promotion of D2K at the Annual Teen Summit in collaboration with D2K Youth Outreach Specialists and Teen Council Members.
- Maintain a keen understanding of trends affecting the movement to end teen dating violence and make appropriate recommendations regarding the communication strategy surrounding them.
Collaborate with other youth-serving organizations to engage in outreach and to change social norms and promote primary prevention efforts. Collaborate with member programs, education systems, and youth-serving organizations to support and create awareness of the Annual Teen Summit and other prevention activities.
Other duties: Compile data; plan, carry out and coordinate project evaluation activities; submit timely data and reports to End Abuse’s database for grant reporting. Supporting the Leadership Circle, Amplify and We Lead, and annual coordination of the ten D2K Teen Ambassadors Program (TAP) Fellows, and provide mentorship to staff on the Tribal Liaison & Northern Training planning/coordination work. Attend the HR Supervisory meetings and provide support and strategic vision to the organization.

Work Conditions/Environment and Physical Demands
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting and requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Must possess the emotional and physical stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations, such as: responding to complaints; handling difficult internal and external interactions; effectively working long and, at times, odd hours; maintaining a restorative nature and sense of humor throughout.
This is a permanent full-time position that can be performed remotely within the state of Wisconsin only. The range for this position is $68,000 to $72,000 annually commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, an employee assistance program, a sabbatical program, a 401K plan, and generous paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave. A background check will be conducted for this position prior to employment.
