We are now accepting Workshop & Roundtable proposals for the 2025 Teen Summit! Please consider submitting a proposal by Friday November 15th, 2024.
Workshops | MUST have at least 1 active, youth co-facilitator, a 75 minute long session. For more details, description, benefits, and to complete the form, click here.
Roundtables | Youth facilitators and youth led space, a 60 minute long session. Intentionally created to allow for youth, ages 25 and under, to connect with their peers on a specific topic they have experience with or are curious to hear more about. Teen Summit Overview | The annual Teen Summit is End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin’s largest training, bringing youth, parents, educators, activists, and mentors from all over Wisconsin to learn about healthy relationships, teen dating violence, and sexual assault within a larger anti-oppression framework. We include educational and enthusiastic plenary speakers, youth-led workshops as well as topic-related performances.
Who Should Attend? | The event will host ~300 people with the shared goal of preventing violence. Adult mentors and advocates who work with or support teens are encouraged to attend; this includes parents, caregivers, teachers and school personnel, and those involved with sexual assault and domestic violence programs, tribal programs, runaway programs, and youth-serving organizations.
Safety Note | We will be monitoring COVID-19 outbreaks and variants and make changes as needed. We may require attendees to wear KN95 masks (they will be provide) along with proof of vaccinations status and/or a negative COVID-19 test result that is taken within 48 hours of the event.
