Join us in community at Soar Above to learn, connect, and make a difference for survivors with your generous support. We will gather together on August 31 from 5-7pm at The Great Dane Pub & Brewing – Hilldale, where we’ll feature information on the impact of recent declining protections in reproductive justice for survivors – in particular BIPOC survivors.

Not only do survivors of domestic abuse experience reproductive coercion, including birth control sabotage and forced pregnancy at higher rates, but forced birth policies disproportionately impact BIPOC, immigrant and LGBTQ folks who are already more marginalized. This year’s Soar Above will explore these intersections and support survivors of abuse and oppression in Wisconsin and nationwide.
We’re thrilled to welcome J. Dale Gardner of the Madison Doula Collective as we raise awareness and funds that support domestic violence survivors statewide, with a focus on reproductive justice and the impact of recent declining protections in reproductive justice for survivors.
Your registration includes food and a drink ticket along with admission to the soirée. Games and drawings will also be on hand.
COVID Protocols: All registrants will be required to wear masks during the event. Registrants are encouraged to take a COVID test before attending the event. We’ll provide masks and hand sanitizer.
Special thanks to our sponsors, Legal Action of Wisconsin and Johnson Financial Group, for supporting this event!
